The opportunity
We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to grow design-in opportunities and long-term customer relationships across our territory. You will promote our manufacturer line card at key OEMs, and other customers, coordinate with distribution partners, and operate as a trusted technical sales partner in the field.
We welcome candidates across experience levels, from early-career sales professionals to those with years in the field. Background in electronics, components, distribution, or manufacturers' representative sales is helpful, but not required to apply.
Responsibilities

Own and grow an assigned customer base and target account list across key hardware markets

Build relationships with engineering, procurement, and decision-makers; uncover requirements early and guide product selection through design-in and production

Promote Exis QCI's manufacturer portfolio and match applications to the right technologies

Partner with authorized distributors to align field activity, pipeline, and channel execution

Develop and execute a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals

Maintain accurate CRM records (accounts, contacts, activities, notes, and forecasts)

Coordinate with manufacturer FAEs and internal teammates on technical support, samples, and quotes

Represent Exis QCI at customer meetings, training sessions, and selected industry events
Requirements

Interest in B2B or technical sales, with a drive to learn products and applications

Comfort engaging engineers and buyers on product needs and design tradeoffs (training provided as needed)

Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated and able to manage a field territory with limited day-to-day supervision

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft 365 (or equivalent), or willingness to learn
Nice-to-haves

Prior electronics, components, distribution, or manufacturers' rep experience

Degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Prior experience with design registration, AVL/BOM processes, or distributor co-selling

Existing network in Northern California / Bay Area electronics accounts
